Virtuous Restaurants is a multi-category delivery platform. As a registered independent driver you may be offered delivery tasks from restaurants, grocery retailers, drink suppliers, household goods providers, convenience stores, and other lawful merchant categories available on the Platform from time to time. All delivery categories are subject to the Platform’s compliance standards published at virtuousrestaurants.com/standards.

Submission does NOT create any agreement, obligation, registration or engagement between you and Virtuous Restaurants Ltd. Upon review of your submission, the Platform will send the official Independent Driver Registration Form from notifications@legalesign.com — listed as an authorised address at virtuousrestaurants.com/authorised-communications. You must read and complete the registration form before any engagement begins.

Independent drivers registered on this platform, or those that wish to be a restaurant referrer, may entirely at their own discretion, choose to participate in the platform’s voluntary restaurant referral programme. This programme is separate from your driver subcontractor agreement and is governed by an additional, separate agreement.
The Specialist Referrer Programme operates under a distinct payment schedule and separate contractual agreement from those applicable to driver services. Participation in either programme is independent, and individuals may elect to participate in one, both, or neither, in accordance with the relevant terms and conditions.

All participants operate strictly as self-employed subcontractors. Participation is governed by separate, distinct agreements depending on whether an individual elects to both drive and refer, or to participate solely as a restaurant referrer.
- Nothing in these agreements or programme shall create, imply, or be construed as an employment, worker, agency, or contractual relationship with Virtuous Restaurants Ltd beyond the terms of the applicable subcontractor agreement.

Drivers and specialist referrers solely are responsible for their own taxes, insurance, compliance, and legal obligations. You are solely responsible for registering as self-employed with HMRC and for all tax and National Insurance obligations arising from your earnings. The Platform does not deduct tax on your behalf. This page covers two entirely separate and independent income opportunities, each governed by its own distinct agreement. Participation in one does not create participation in, entitlement to, or enrolment in the other. Each is voluntary, performance-based, and does not create employment, worker, or agency status with Virtuous Restaurants Ltd. Driver delivery earnings are paid directly to registered independent drivers every Tuesday for verified completed deliveries from the previous week. The Specialist Referrer tier system — Senior, Master, and Legendary — is a separate programme governed by a separate Specialist Referrer Agreement. Participating as a Specialist Referrer requires signing a separate agreement. Driver registration alone does not enrol you in the Specialist Referrer Programme. Senior Referrer (Refer up to 10 Restaurants)
Your Role
As a self-employed subcontractor, you will:
Operate independently while completing deliveries.
Refer restaurants to the Virtuous Delivery Platform and earn £50 per referred restaurant.
Adhere to the authorised reporting procedure in the virtuousrestaurants.com/enquiry lead generation process when submitting referrals.
Important: Participation does not create employment, worker, or employee status under UK law.
Earnings (Official Compensation Plan):
Weekly Delivery Payouts
Payment day: Every Tuesday for deliveries completed Monday–Sunday in the previous week.
Eligibility: Only completed and verified deliveries from the previous Monday-Sunday period qualify for payouts on the following Tuesday.
Payment method: All payments will be made via Stripe Connect. Upon approval of your registration form, you will receive a secure Stripe Connect invitation to link your bank account for receiving payments.
Fees: Standard processing fees may apply to all payments.
Legal: This payment schedule is strictly for performance-based subcontractor earnings and does not create, imply, or confer any employment, worker, or employee rights under UK law. All earnings are performance-based and not guaranteed; payouts are made only upon verified qualifying activity.
Specialist Restaurant Referral Programme
£50 one-off: Earned for each restaurant you personally refer once their account goes live in the previous month.
£10/month residual: Earned for each active restaurant you have referred while in this tier.
Active = restaurant has completed at least one verified and settled transaction through the Platform in the previous month
Payment schedule: Residual referral payments are issued to Specialist Referrers monthly on the 2nd day of each month under the Specialist Referrer Agreement.
Summary:
Weekly: Delivery earnings paid every Tuesday.
Monthly: £10 per active restaurant from the previous month
One-off: £50 for every restaurant you refer that goes live in the previous month.
Legal Note:
You are a self-employed subcontractor.

Have grown your referral network, bringing between 11–25 restaurants onto the Virtuous Delivery Platform.

“Active” Definition and Earnings Calculation
Active Status: A restaurant is considered active for payment purposes only if it has completed at least one verified and settled transaction through the Platform in the previous month, as determined solely by the Platform’s internal accounting and payment-verification processes.
Earnings Transparency:
All earnings are tracked through the Platform’s internal accounting system. You will receive authorised email updates showing:
which restaurants you have referred,
their active or inactive status for the previous month, and
the corresponding amounts you are eligible to earn under your current tier.
These summaries are clear, fair, and fully auditable, and reflect the exact payments due based on verified performance and tier eligibility.
Payout Schedule
Weekly Delivery Payouts: Paid every Tuesday for all deliveries completed by registered independent drivers and verified completions during the previous Monday–Sunday period.
Specialist Referrer Referral Payouts: Paid to Specialist Referrers on the 2nd day of each month for all eligible referral commissions and residual payments earned in the previous month, based strictly on each restaurant’s verified active status as confirmed by the Platform’s internal records. This payment applies exclusively to individuals who have signed a separate Specialist Referrer Agreement.
Payment Method: All delivery and referral payments are processed exclusively via Stripe and are fully tracked, authorised, and receipted to ensure complete transparency.

Legal Confirmation
1. Employment Status
Nothing in this page, scheme, compensation plan, or any communication from Virtuous Restaurants Ltd shall be construed as a contract of employment or create any entitlement to employment rights under UK law. All participants operate strictly as self-employed subcontractors, retaining full autonomy over hours, methods, and business activities.
2. Incentives & Payments
Eligibility, calculation, and adjustment of all payments are determined by the Platform based on verified internal records, which are final, conclusive, and binding. All related decisions are final and binding subject to the manifest error procedure in the applicable signed agreement.
Payments are subject to adjustment in the event of cancellations, refunds, or verified disputes relating to delivery orders or referrals.
All delivery earnings, referral one-offs, and residuals are performance-based and do not create employment, worker, or agency rights.
3. Subcontractor Programme
All incentives are part of the Virtuous Restaurants Ltd Performance-Based Subcontractor Programme and are governed exclusively by the applicable Subcontractor Agreement. Participation does not create, and shall not imply, any employment, worker, or agency relationship.
Restaurant Referrals: All restaurant referrals must be submitted exclusively via the official form at virtuousrestaurants.com/enquiry. Referrals submitted through any other channel will NOT be credited.
Driver Supplier Referrals: All driver referrals must be made exclusively via the official Platform page virtuousrestaurants.com/become-our-driver. Authorised Driver Suppliers are permitted solely to inform potential independent drivers of the existence of the Platform and to direct them to this page. No other action is permitted. Driver Suppliers may not complete, assist with, influence, submit, or otherwise intervene in any driver’s registration process. No referral submitted through any other method — including email, phone, social media, in-person introduction, or any other channel — will be recognised, credited, or give rise to any entitlement to commission or payment. The Platform’s electronic records are final, conclusive, and binding for all referral attribution purposes.
Drivers may earn through delivery jobs or referrals as outlined in the programme terms. Participation is entirely voluntary.
The Specialist Restaurant Referral Programme and the Virtuous Delivery Platform independent Driver Registration are completely separate programmes, each governed by their own agreements and terms.
Specialist Restaurant Referrers: A separate Specialist Referrer Agreement is required for those who do not wish to register as a driver and only participate in referrals. Standard driver registration is not required. For details, contact admin@virtuousrestaurants.com.
4. Tax & Regulatory Compliance
All subcontractors are solely responsible for their own tax, National Insurance, and regulatory obligations. Each subcontractor agrees to indemnify and hold Virtuous Restaurants Ltd harmless for any liability arising from non-compliance.
5. Termination Rights
Virtuous Restaurants Ltd may suspend or terminate participation at any time, with or without cause, and with immediate effect. Any verified earnings already accrued and payable in respect of activity occurring strictly before the termination date will be paid on the next scheduled payment date in accordance with the applicable signed agreement and the Platform’s internal records. No further payment, commission, or compensation of any kind shall be owed after the termination date regardless of any prior referral activity or any drivers or restaurants previously referred who continue to use the Platform.
For the avoidance of doubt, no residual payments shall be due in respect of any referred restaurant’s activity occurring after the termination date, regardless of when that restaurant was originally referred.
6. Discretion
Subcontractors have no right to access underlying financial records beyond the summaries provided by Virtuous Restaurants Ltd. The Platform’s internal records, calculations, and determinations are final, conclusive, and binding for all purposes under the applicable signed agreement, subject only to the manifest error procedure set out in that agreement. This webpage is the only authorised source of up-to-date information regarding the Virtuous Restaurants Ltd Platform’s tiered compensation plan and performance-based incentives for both independent drivers and specialist referrers. For independent drivers, virtuousrestaurants.com/become-our-driver is the authorised registration page. For specialist referrers, the additional authorised source is virtuousrestaurants.com/referral-program, which governs the separate Specialist Referrer Programme and the application process for that programme. Any other source, communication, or document is unauthorised and may be inaccurate.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
This page, scheme, and all disputes arising under it are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved under English law, via arbitration (e.g., LCIA rules) or, where appropriate, the small claims court.
8. Binding Confirmation
By participating in the independent driver programme and/or the specialist referrer programme, each subcontractor personally, freely, and independently confirms that they have read and understood all terms on this page, that their participation is entirely voluntary, that no third party completed or assisted with their registration on their behalf, and that all incentives including delivery earnings, referral one-offs, and monthly residuals are performance-based and subject to verification. They are not employment entitlements and do not create any employment, worker, or agency rights. Accrued and verified earnings are payable in accordance with the applicable signed agreement.
9. Personal Acceptance and Independent Registration
Every individual who registers as an independent driver on the Virtuous Restaurants Platform does so personally, freely, and of their own independent volition. By completing and submitting the official Driver Registration Interest Form at virtuousrestaurants.com/become-our-driver, each registrant expressly confirms that:
They have personally read and understood all terms on this page and in their Driver Registration Form and Driver Subcontractor Agreement in full before submitting.
They have not been assisted, pressured, coerced, or instructed by any Driver Supplier or third party in completing or submitting their registration.
They have not relied on any statement, representation, or guidance from any Driver Supplier or third party as a substitute for reading the Platform’s official terms.
They understand that Driver Suppliers are permitted only to inform them of the Platform’s existence and to direct them to virtuousrestaurants.com/become-our-driver — nothing more. Any action by a Driver Supplier beyond this is strictly unauthorised and constitutes a breach of the Driver Supplier’s own agreement with the Platform.
No Driver Supplier, third party, or any other individual has authority to bind the Platform, make representations on the Platform’s behalf, or modify the terms of registration in any way.
The Platform’s electronic records, timestamps, and registration data constitute conclusive evidence of each driver’s personal and independent registration. No claim that a third party completed or assisted with registration shall relieve the registrant of their obligations under the signed Agreement or create any liability for the Platform.
10. Complaints Against Driver Suppliers
If you believe that a Driver Supplier acted outside their permitted role in connection with your registration — including by completing, assisting with, pressuring, or influencing your registration in any way — you must contact driver.support@virtuousrestaurants.com immediately and before submitting your registration form.
The Platform takes all complaints against Driver Suppliers seriously. A Driver Supplier who acts outside their strictly limited permitted role is in material breach of their own Agreement with the Platform and may have their Agreement terminated immediately.
By proceeding to submit your registration form without raising a complaint, you confirm that no Driver Supplier acted improperly in connection with your registration. This confirmation is recorded as part of your registration record and is binding.
Raising a complaint after submitting your registration form does not relieve you of your obligations under the Agreement you have signed and does not affect the Platform’s right to enforce all terms of your signed Agreement. The Platform’s liability for the acts or omissions of any Driver Supplier is excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law.
